What disorders and issues can EMDR treat?

Is EMDR like hypnosis?
EMDR therapy is not a form of hypnosis. It is grounded in scientific research and has been shown to be effective in treating various mental health conditions.
How do I start services?

How are services provided?
Services are provided through a secure telehealth platform. You are eligible to receive services as long as you are physically in the state of Florida during the time of session.
Limited in-person appointments available in Cape Coral.
What is the age range of the client you see?
Clients 18 years old and up are seen for therapy on an individual basis.

The following insurances are accepted: Aetna, Ascension (SmartHealth), Ambetter, Cigna, United Healthcare/Optum, Florida Blue, Florida Blue - Medicare, Humana, Humana Dual, Oscar (Optum), Sunshine Health, Simply Healthcare.
What is the self-pay rate?
The rate for the initial psychiatric evaluation is $150. The rate for a 60-minute therapy session is $125.
